I started djing at age 15 for church youth dances and socials. At 18 years of I became a professional DJ working under one of the top mobile Disc jockey companies in the Sacramento area during the early 1990’s. I opened my own Professional DJ service in 1998 after returning to Sacramento from serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon Church or LDS Church) in the Northern portion of Colorado. My services are prefect for any occasion, wedding, church socials and family dances, youth and school dances, crab feeds, and more.
Partnering with my beautiful bride Ruth from almost the beginning, the wojohowitz dj co is truly one of the few husband and wife teams available in the Sacramento area. I program the music and organize the event while Ruth keeps me on track and coordinates the event. Our services include (in no particular order) event outline and organization, coordination during event, customization of music to your event, upbeat and energetic music, sound reinforcement for ceremonies and toasts, dance lighting, beat matching, and a great time.
We provide top service in event coordination. We will communicate and work directly with photographers, videographers, caterers, facilities, and wedding planners. Most of all we will communicate with you. If it is your wedding you will know just what to expect. You won’t have to come up to the booth to see when we are moving on or what’s coming up, we’ll let you know upfront and before things happen.
I keep this service as a hobby more than a business as it is not my primary source of income, in fact all income goes into supporting this and my various other businesses. I believe it keeps my edge in the business and skills sharp. There are a great many professional dj services out there and in my opinion many are not as good as they once were because they are reliant on the next gig. I want to provide a service, and that is why my prices are set to cover my cost and a little extra to keep that habit going.
Ask anyone who’s used my services and you’ll find that I truly am the best price in town. This is partly because you get the same great service for a fourth to fifth the cost you would find with other mobile dj services.
